Georgia Dugout Club Announces 2026 Peach State Player of the Year Nominees and Full Slate of GADC Players of the Year

ATLANTA, GA — The Georgia Dugout Club (GADC) is proud to announce the 2026 Peach State Player of the Year Nominees, along with the complete list of GADC Players of the Year across all GHSA classifications and the Private School division. These awards honor outstanding student-athletes whose performance, leadership, and impact set the standard for high school softball in the state of Georgia.

Georgia Dugout Club Annual Awards Ceremony & Hall of Fame Induction

The ceremony serves as one of the premier celebrations of softball excellence in the Southeast, bringing together the state’s top athletes, coaches, families, and supporters.

2026 Peach State Player of the Year NomineesThe Peach State Player of the Year Award represents one of the highest honors in Georgia high school softball, recognizing the most dominant and influential players across all classifications.
• Jada Savage – East CowetaA nationally recognized power arm and all-around force, Savage continues to elevate East Coweta’s championship tradition with elite performance and on-field leadership.
• Caroline Stanton – BufordThe heartbeat of Buford’s success, Stanton brings unmatched poise, intensity, and athletic precision to one of the state’s most storied programs.
• Shayla Bahr – WesleyanA dynamic playmaker and multi-tool athlete, Bahr’s explosive style and consistency make her one of the state’s most impactful players at any level.
The 2026 Peach State Player of the Year Award winner will be announced live at the December 13 ceremony.

GADC Players of the Year by ClassificationBelow are the officially recognized Players of the Year for each GHSA classification and the Private division. Each classification has two honorees, acknowledging the depth of talent and statewide impact within each level of competition.

Class A – Division II Players of the Year• EmLee Lowery – Lanier CountyA cornerstone of Lanier County’s success, Lowery excelled with consistency, athleticism, and leadership that anchored her team on both sides of the ball.
• Mary Katherine Durden – Emanuel County InstituteDurden delivered major production throughout the season, combining power, speed, and defensive reliability that elevated ECI’s competitive presence.

Class A – Division I Players of the Year• Savannah Langley – BremenLangley’s explosive offensive output and defensive versatility made her one of the most feared competitors in the classification.
• Laney Wilson – Gordon LeeA dominant contributor for one of Georgia’s traditional power programs, Wilson showcased high-level consistency and championship-caliber performance.

Class AA Players of the Year• Marley Hall – SonoravilleHall's all-around athleticism and relentless competitive edge propelled Sonoraville throughout the season.
• Aziyah Robertson – Morgan CountyRobertson’s dynamic playmaking ability and leadership set the standard for excellence in Class AA.

Class AAA Players of the Year• Bailee Hollis – Heritage CatoosaA driving force behind Heritage’s success, Hollis excelled in clutch moments with standout offensive and defensive production.
• Mackinley Warren – Cherokee BluffWarren’s powerful presence and game-changing performances made her one of the top athletes in the classification.

Class AAAA Players of the Year• Kylee Lawrence – EastsideLawrence delivered a breakout season filled with leadership and elite-level play, anchoring Eastside’s competitive rise.
• Lyla Morici – KellMorici’s combination of athletic precision and big-moment energy helped push Kell to new heights this season.

Class AAAAA Players of the Year• Jaidyn Griffeth – CreekviewGriffeth produced one of the most complete seasons in Georgia, balancing power, average, and defensive excellence.
• Danni Lynn – South EffinghamLynn’s dynamic play and dependability made her one of the most impactful performers in Class 5A.

Class AAAAAA Players of the Year• Addie Rackley – BufordRackley continued Buford’s tradition of elite softball with exceptional performance in all phases of the game.
• Jada Savage – East CowetaAlso a Peach State nominee, Savage’s dominant year places her among the nation’s elite players.

Private School Players of the Year• Shayla Bahr – WesleyanA Peach State nominee, Bahr’s explosive skill set and leadership define her as one of the state’s premier athletes.
• Juls Huber – Hebron ChristianHuber showcased remarkable consistency and competitive excellence, helping lead Hebron’s strong campaign.

A Celebration of ExcellenceThe Georgia Dugout Club congratulates each of these remarkable athletes on their achievements. Their hard work, sportsmanship, and commitment continue to elevate the game of softball throughout the state.
