Historic 2025 Softball Weekend at Truist Park
ATLANTA, Ga. — The Georgia Dugout Club (GADC) is proud to announce an exciting weekend-long celebration of softball at Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves, beginning Saturday, November 8, through Sunday, November 9. GADC’s signature All-State Games and a professional exhibition will be played on a world-class stage, creating a weekend that honors Georgia’s softball past, showcases its present, and inspires its future.
History will be made in Sunday’s exhibition game as the Atlanta Smoke take on a Professional Women’s Fastpitch All-Star Team, marking the first professional softball exhibition ever to be played in a Major League stadium.
Saturday, November 8 – The All-State Games: Georgia’s Best Take the Field
The weekend opens with one of the state’s most prestigious traditions: the Georgia Dugout Club All-State Softball Games, featuring 80 of the top high-school seniors selected from across every classification.
For these athletes, the experience represents far more than another game—it’s a culmination of years of hard work, perseverance, and leadership both on and off the diamond. It’s also an unforgettable chance to play on the same field where Major League stars compete. The first pitch is scheduled for 9:00 a.m.
Nominations for the GADC All-State Softball Games happening on Saturday, November 8, are currently open until Friday October 17th.
Selection Process and Significance
Adding to the excitement, each All-State team will feature an Atlanta Smoke player serving as a guest coach during the tournament.
During the midday break, several Atlanta Smoke players will host an open Q&A session in the dugout and be available for autographs and photos with players and fans.
Additionally, every selected All-State player will receive a complimentary ticket to attend the Atlanta Smoke Classic on Sunday, November 9.

Transforming a Major League Field for SoftballTo ensure an authentic experience, Truist Park will once again be converted into a regulation softball venue, with temporary fencing, bases, and customized dimensions. The scale of the event underscores the Dugout Club’s commitment to giving its players the recognition they deserve.

This memorable weekend of softball continues into Sunday, when the ballpark becomes the stage for one of the most anticipated professional softball matchups. The Atlanta Smoke, a professional women’s fastpitch team based in Atlanta, will battle an All-Star team in a showcase featuring elite talent from across the country.
This game marks a historic milestone as the first professional softball exhibition ever held in a Major League stadium.
